Advanced Local Verification

Precise browser-only privacy utility for people who need evidence they can inspect. Clear boundaries between what passed, failed, was unsupported, and was not checked. Files you select are never executed as code and never uploaded; no usage telemetry is emitted by the application.

How to read the results

Metadata is hidden descriptive data inside a file, such as camera or location tags. Encoded data is the compressed bytes stored in the file. Decoded data is the pixels a decoder produces from those bytes. Each check reports pass, fail, unsupported, or Not checked; Not checked means no claim is made. Compare an original with the returned file below, and use Cancel Run to stop a comparison. The self-test and imported-report tools are under Advanced tools.

Disclaimer: Metadata removal is not PRNU removal, anonymity, zero trace, or secure memory erasure. Smaller scan size does not prove re-quantization or identify why bytes changed.

Verification Settings

Performs a local, same-decoder pixel comparison. This requires heavy memory usage and can freeze the browser for large images. If unchecked, this check is explicitly recorded as "Not checked".

Mode: local JPEG pair comparison
Engine: pixelrinse-native-jpeg-1

Advanced tools

Synthetic Self-Test

Run an isolated local test verifying the engine's strict cleaner, comparison checks, and reproducibility against known synthetic fixtures.

Imported Certificate / Report

Optional local inspection. Imported plaintext is treated as inert data; no HTML is rendered and no instructions are followed.

Verification Batch

No verification pairs added. Click "Add Pair" to begin.
